After two and a half years of blood, sweat and elbow grease, 200+ volunteers have finally launched the Chicago Independent Radio Project, or CHIRP Radio. In a sea of fragmented radio, CHIRP aims to hone in on its vibrant Chicago community and highlight lesser heard new and old music, both foreign and local, while delivering a consistent sound so you can tune in any time of the day. While they work out an LPFM license you can hear them streaming live on the Internet 21 hours a day, seven days a week, from their Chicago studio via www.chirpradio.org. Liquid Dilemma's own DJ Bylamplight hosts a program from 6:00pm to 9:00pm (CST) every Monday which is 12:00am to 3:00am (GMT) for the late night Brussels crew. Drop in for a listen and say hello.
