Tipanic - Lazed & Confused (2010) FREE!!!

Its been almost 2 years since the first songs for the album have been produced. Not sure about whether it is because Tipanic alias Florian Richling is busy producing as Luke Rich together with Adam Lukas Dancehall artists all over the world, he is running the highhat studio and the labels BASSRUNNER and BIG-N-HAIRY together with David Salomonowitz, Adam Lukas and Bernhard Grossauer or because of the growing popularity of Vienna’s first and only Retro-Soulband “Tiger Tales” in which he hits the drums hard & heavy;
However Lazed & Confused is a mixture of Electro-, Tribal- and Tropical orientated House mixed with some weird cover version (Khia – My Neck, Michael Jackson – Rock With You).
Co-Produced by his good friend Chacki Chen alias Kristof Wöginger.

Fantasma - Fantasma City (2010)

FANTASMA, Cumbia and Beyond

Fantasma was gestated in 2001, formed by Martín Roisi and Pablo Antico, A.K.A. Fantasma (artistic, guitar and voices) and Mr Negro (raps & frontman).

They redeveloped Tropical cumbia styles with a mix of hip hop and electronic sounds that seem to come right from a Digital Shanty Town!

Using music as a weapon, they started moving in different social levels in an integration crusade, from touring in Paris (2007) and being played on TV´s primetime show "Susana Giménez," to being founders of the multicultural social project Odisea 20, settled in a shanty town (Villa 20, Villa Lugano).

They took M.I.A. and dj producer Diplo to the heart of Buenos Aires Shanty Towns"Arte Villero/Shanty Town Art" in which their new album is its soundtrack.
introducing them this amazing and creative world. In 2008 they received financing from The Prince Claus Foundation to make the documentary film.

OK, I was supposed to play AMSTERDAM last night and couldnt make it. I spent a lot of time working n some new edits I was hoping to drop there and getting my set together for that night (which was with REBEL UP!, PROCESS REBEL, BOMB DIGGY and the great TIMEBLIND) and when I got to the trainstation, I already saw a lot of delayed trains and cancelled rides. I decided to try anyway, but my train was so delayed I missed the connect in Den Bosch and the last one to Amsterdam just got cancelled on me! Since there was NO-ONE at the station who could tell me ANYTHING about taking a train the other way round (Rotterdam/Den Haag) I just got back to Tilburg in a bad mood. BUT… Since I already spent all this time working on these cuts and set, I figured I might as well record it at HOME and offer it here as a free download for y’all! This is how a baaad night can turn into something a bit more positive, cause I give you a complete new SDP mix, with a bunch of new edits and new cuts! here we gooooooo… this one goes out to the Amsterdam peeps and basicly anyone who digs NEW OR OLD cumbia worldwide. heads up!

Future of the left - Travels with myself and another (2009)

Travels With Myself And Another, the second album from Welsh band Future of the Left opens with the searing “Arming Eritrea” and never lets up from there. It’s a furious, thundering collection of punk inspired rock, with often sardonic, mocking and profane lyrics frequently as abrasive and ferocious as the music itself, all of it sounding something like Ministry’s industrial noise with guitars instead of synths. However one chooses to classify it, nothing quite like Travels With Myself And Another has appeared this year. I can say without reservation that this is a great record that I’ve been listening to over and over since I got my hands on it. If your tastes run to indie folksy or chamber pop, then maybe this won’t be your cup of tea, but to all punk and hard rock fans, I say check this out. Standout cuts: “Arming Eritrea,” “The Hope That House Built,” “I Am Civil Service” and “You Need Satan More Than He Needs You.”
