Its been almost 2 years since the first songs for the album have been produced. Not sure about whether it is because Tipanic alias Florian Richling is busy producing as Luke Rich together with Adam Lukas Dancehall artists all over the world, he is running the highhat studio and the labels BASSRUNNER and BIG-N-HAIRY together with David Salomonowitz, Adam Lukas and Bernhard Grossauer or because of the growing popularity of Vienna’s first and only Retro-Soulband “Tiger Tales” in which he hits the drums hard & heavy;
However Lazed & Confused is a mixture of Electro-, Tribal- and Tropical orientated House mixed with some weird cover version (Khia – My Neck, Michael Jackson – Rock With You).

It's a Gash Gash Gash Gash World by Polle Van De Gash

I was having a rummage around Lupin House yesterday whilst Alex G was getting his techno mix (see below) ready, I found the a copy of 'It's A Gash Gash Gash Gash World'. Trouble is with all my old home made CDs is that I would always put a nice printed CD sticker on the disc. A lot of CD players, especially computers, get really arsey about it and refuse to go further that about a third of the way into the disc before giving up. So, I stuck the disc in the computer and it worked it's way through to the end without a care in the world. Bless. This joyous news means I can share it with you now. 33 tracks over 74 minutes covering electronics, psychedelia, library, spoken word, pop, avant-rock and more.

Gal Costa - Índia

Índia is a Brazilian folk album from Gal Costa and is one of my favorite albums by her. It came out in 1973 and was immediately banned by the Brazilian government so it is somewhat rare. Interestingly, my favorite songs are toward the end, as if the songs were sequenced with the best ones last. Or maybe it's just one of those albums that takes a few songs to blossom.

It has some all-star work on it like most Gal albums -- most notably it was produced by Gilberto Gil in his heydey, the majority of songs were written by Caetano Veloso, and songs #3 and #8 were arranged by Arthur Verocai (who is only just recently beginning to get proper dues for his talent).

Majestic Coal Chute No. 4

Hey all, happy Thanksgiving. Here's part four of the Majestic Coal Chute series, a collection I put together mostly from 45s nabbed down in Texas on a recent trip. Part one gets into some heavy, mindbending 70s psych, part two revs it up with some slamming 60s garage, part three again is screeching garage rock, and finally this last one cools it down with some off-center pop tunes from the 60s and 70s as well as some softer psych and folk numbers. Phew, that's nearly four hours of music. Download, press play, and enjoy the feast!
